Must-Have:
High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
Must have EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience.
Experience with referral management and initiations of authorization.
Skills and Knowledge:
Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy.
Knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS), and International Classification of Diseases (ICD)-9 coding.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.).
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-up.
Ability to maintain composure in challenging interpersonal situations.
Strong active listening skills, including effective interpersonal skills and telephone communication
